The Sutling Room HAC London

The Honourable Artillery Company required the main bar of their Grade I* listed building to be refurbished. A Number of findings in the original room were identified for remedy, which included poor acoustic qualities, utilitarian furnishings, poor lighting and general quality of the space.

An onerous requirement was set for the room to be robust - able to serve regiment army personnel as well as providing relaxed facilities for private functions. No soft furnishings were permitted. In addition to redecoration, the works included a new coffered ceiling, timber wall panelling, new bar, display and lighting.

The main contractor was Firmco Ltd.
