Planned Preventative Maintenance

Buildings begin to deteriorate as soon as they are built. Recognising this, our Chartered Building Surveyors prepare tailor-made maintenance programmes, spreading necessary expenditure evenly over a period of years. Early diagnosis of an apparently minor defect can often lead to considerable cost savings in the future.

This service is particularly relevant to commercial property i.e. schools, institutional buildings etc. although is useful to listed buildings and residential blocks of flats etc.

We will inspect the property and prepare a detailed schedule of condition. We will then develop this schedule into a maintenance programme identifying necessary repairs over time (usually 5 or 10 years). This will then enable us to price the necessary repairs and culminate in an annual budget for finance purposes. Thus the cost of annual maintenance can be spread to prevent any unpleasant surprises.
